To test the telescope, scientists created a virtual model of our Earth and gave it the task of studying it. The result was encouraging: the device did find signs of life on our planet. So, when the telescope is built in the future, it will be possible to study about fifty known exoplanets of the Earth type in the hope of finding life there. At the first stage, only close objects, no further than 65 light years from us, will be studied.
