It is estimated that every 24 hours quasar J0529-4351 absorbs a volume of matter equal to our Sun. Where it gets it from is an intriguing question. Since the black hole is incredibly far away, we see only traces of its activity, which took place many billions of years ago. What and how much it has done in that time is still a mystery.
