The hunch about jumping leeches has been confirmed

Since they were first mentioned by naturalists in the Victorian era, there has been debate about the existence of jumping leeches, with some claiming to have seen them “acrobatically” and others believing that these worms were probably just falling from above.
More than 100 years later, this debate has been resolved thanks to a video recording made by researchers May Fahmy and Michael Tessler.
